Solving the Housing Crisis with 3D Printed Homes – MAPEI Sponsored Webinar

Presented on: Aug 2, 2023 12:00 PM CST

Through extensive laboratory research and development, combined with comprehensive field testing in a wide range of conditions, MAPEI Corporation has created a robust, low-slump, pumpable, ready-for-use mortar as part of a system, providing an alternative to concrete walls as described in ACI 318-19 (2021 IBC) and ACI 318-14 (2018 IBC), and as permitted by Section 104.11 of the IBC.

This proprietary material, in combination with large-scale automated construction printing, is the first of its kind to meet Acceptance Criteria AC509 for 3D Automated Construction Technology and to subsequently be granted International Construction Code-Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) certification with ESR-4623. This webinar will provide an overview of the efficient, sustainable mortar/ink, as well as providing a look at successful reference projects here in the US Market.
