Dr. Debra F. Laefer is an American who is a tenured lecturer in Civil Engineering at the University College Dublin in Ireland and past Interim Director of Conservation Research for their Master’s in Urban and Building Conservation. She is also Chair of the Heritage and Existing Structures Committee for the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. Dr. Laefer may be reached at debra.laefer@ucd.ie.
