John W. Wallace, Ph.D., P.E., FACI, is a professor of civil engineering at UCLA and Director of the NEES@UCLA Laboratory for Field Testing and Monitoring of Structural Performance. He is a member of numerous ASCE and ACI committees, including Committee 318-H, Seismic Provisions, and ACI-ASCE Committee 352, Joints and Connections.
