Through-Bolts and Blind Bolts to HSS- STI Sponsored Webinar

 class=

Presented on: September 27, 2023

Welding is generally our “go-to” method for connections to HSS members. However, there are also methods for bolting to HSS members which may increase the efficiency of the connection. The main challenge for using bolts with HSS members is access to the interior of the member – conventional bolts require access to both sides of the bolt during installation. This free session will explore through-bolting and one-sided bolting options to HSS, which require checking less commonly known limit states in the supporting HSS member.

Continuing education credit (1 hour / 1 PDH) will be provided by STI to attendees after the webinar. Please register as individuals for this complimentary webinar to ensure proper PDH processing. Email: Steph Fontaine sfontaine@steeltubeinstitute.org with questions.

By registering for this complimentary webinar, you are agreeing to receiving communications from the webinar sponsor, STRUCTURE and/or NCSEA.
