Premier resource for practicing structural engineers

Date/Time: November 13, 2024 12:00 pm Central

Corrosion, often referred to as the “Great Destroyer,” is a force that has been responsible for catastrophic failures across various industries, contributing to the degradation of planes, ships, vehicles, and even historical artifacts. Its impact on reinforced concrete structures is particularly insidious, silently compromising their strength, durability, and safety.

In this webinar, we will explore advanced and effective strategies to address corrosion in concrete structures. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the latest techniques for corrosion prevention, including the application of corrosion inhibitors, rebar coatings, cathodic protection, optimized concrete mix designs, and protective sealers. By implementing these solutions, engineers, contractors, and infrastructure managers can significantly extend the lifespan of reinforced concrete structures, ensuring long-term reliability and safety.

Join us to learn how to protect your structures from the destructive effects of corrosion through innovative, proven methods. There are no continuing education credits offered for this presentation.

By registering for this complimentary webinar, you are agreeing to receiving communications from the webinar sponsor, STRUCTURE and/or NCSEA.
