Supporting Possibilities with the World’s Largest HSS

Webinar Sponsored by Atlas Tube
 class=

Presented on: Tuesday, November 30, 2021

In late 2021, Atlas Tube will begin producing the world’s largest single seam HSS at the world’s largest Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) mill in Blytheville, Arkansas. While these Jumbo HSS have been available in the US market in limited form, the opening of this new mill brings new opportunities and new possibilities for engineers and architects to enhance the built environment. With these larger sizes from a domestic source, you can build higher and span further than ever before.

This presentation will highlight the capabilities of the new mill, the advantages of using larger HSS, some of the potential applications and a specialty product called the Shuriken, which makes HSS splices simpler and safer.
