Advancements in Power-Actuated Fasteners (PAF): Expanding Structural Engineering Design Options

Sponsored by DEWALT
November 10, 2025

Date/Time: December 3, 2025 12:00 pm Central

Using Power- Actuated Fasteners (PAF) to fasten structural elements to concrete, steel and now masonry offers significant advantages in speed, efficiency, and cost savings. Designing these connections presents unique challenges including the consideration of the substrate variability, advancements in tool delivery systems (Powder, Gas and Battery) along with consideration of changing building code requirements. In this technical webinar, we’ll address the most common pain points faced by structural engineers when designing with PAF systems and provide guidance on the correct selection and specification of pin and delivery system.
