Premier resource for practicing structural engineers

At ACEC’s 2021 Fall Conference, the Coalition of American Structural Engineers (CASE) awarded Celeste Carmignani a $2,500 CASE Scholarship.  Ms. Carmignani is working on a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

CASE is currently seeking contributions for the structural engineering scholarship for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.  The CASE scholarship, administered by the ACEC College of Fellows, is awarded to a student seeking a Bachelor’s degree, at minimum, in an ABET-accredited engineering program.  Since 2009, the CASE Scholarship program has given $37,000 to help engineering students pave their way to a bright future in structural engineering.

We have all witnessed stiff competition from other disciplines and professions eager to obtain the best and brightest young talent from a dwindling pool of engineering graduates.  One way to enhance students’ ability to pursue their dreams to become professional engineers is to offer incentives through educational support.

Your monetary support is vital in helping CASE and ACEC increase scholarships to those students who are the future of our industry.

In addition, all donations toward the program may be eligible for a tax deduction, and you do not have to be an ACEC member to donate!

Do you know a deserving student who would like to apply for the CASE Scholarship?  They can find out more by visiting www.acec.org/awards-programs/acec-scholarships-program.
