  • and more!

The 16th edition Manual also includes the 2022 editions of the AISC Specification for Structural Steel Buildings and the AISC Code of Standard Practice

“The Steel Construction Manual has been the gold standard for structural steel design and construction for almost a century–and the 16th edition’s gleaming cover just underscores its role as the go-to reference for industry professionals around the world,” said AISC Director of Manuals Margaret Matthew. “Since the first edition’s publication in 1927, the Manual has defined codes and standards worldwide and established a shared language and knowledge base for everyone who works with structural steel. We’re honored to continue that tradition with the gold edition.”

The Steel Construction Manual is priced at $250 for AISC members and $500 for non-members. A digital edition will be available this fall. Visit aisc.org/publications for more information.

AISC is also giving away just 16 free copies of the Manual with a limited-edition cover exclusively on social media–this version is not for sale anywhere. People can enter to win one of these 16 books by posting on LinkedIn or Facebook with the #steelwins hashtag. Tell us what you like most about working with structural steel and post a fun picture of your current (or favorite!) Steel Construction Manual (perhaps a selfie with it, or your Manual in a fun or meaningful place).
